Ronald Lee Slavin Sr. passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 60 years and 9 months. He was born on Sept. 29, 1952, in San Antonio to Eugene and Gloria Quintanilla Slavin. He was a former resident of San Antonio and a resident of Floresville for 24 years.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Heidi Morales Slavin of Floresville; his mother, Gloria Slavin of San Antonio; sons Rocky Slavin and Rio Slavin, both of Floresville, and Ronald Slavin Jr. of San Antonio; sister Rosie Slavin of San Antonio; brothers Kenneth Slavin and Leonard Slavin, both of San Antonio; grandchildren Zalan Slavin and Summer Slavin; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A small family gathering was held on Sunday, June 30, in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.
