Mary Korzekwa, 93, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on the evening of Friday, June 21, 2013, in the St. Francis Nursing Home in San Antonio. Mary was born Nov. 10, 1919, to Vincent and Anna Moy Korzekwa in Wilson County.

Mary attended school in Kosciusko. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Bernice Moczygemba, Monica Sprencel, and Justine Moczygemba; and brother Frank Korzekwa.

Mary is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City.

A funeral Mass was held in the church on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Gregory Sawicki S.D.S.

Interment followed in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Cemetery in Falls City.

Serving as pallbearers were Sidney Moczygemba, Bart Moczygemba, Linus Moczygemba, Pelagius Moczygemba, Efrem Sprencel, and Doug Niedenberger.
