1962-2013

Edward Rangel of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Floresville, at the age of 51 years, 5 months, and 3 days. He was born on Jan. 26, 1962, in Floresville to Ella Jiminez and Antonio Rangel Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Floresville.

Edward is survived by his parents; children Chris Rangel and wife Krystal of Virginia and Edward Rangel and wife Dusty of Stockdale; sisters Sylvia Aguilar and husband Aurelio, Sally Tamez and husband Bob, and Susie Rangel, all of Stockdale; brothers Antonio Rangel Jr. and wife Leticia and Abel Rangel and wife Mary, all of Stockdale; 17 nieces and nephews; 17 great-nieces and -nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2, at 10 a.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment followed in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
