STOCKDALE -- With varying amounts of rainfall received recently across the area and no burn ban in effect, the Stockdale City Council has approved a fireworks safe zone for the Independence Day holiday, Thursday, July 4.

The safe zone is located behind the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department building, off S.H. 123, from the hours of 7-10 p.m. July 4.
