Bukowski exhibits at national show

Garret Bukowski of Adkins exhibited the fourth-place heifer, SF Greed Godddness 711, in Class 25 of the Chianina and Chimaine show at the 2013 American Junior Chianina Association National Junior Heifer Show June 20 in Grand Island, Neb. The Oct. 22, 2011, heifer is sired by Jimmie The Greek.

Throughout the week, Bukowski competed as a senior in the Stockman’s Challenge, the Quiz Bowl, Showmanship, and Team Fitting.

“How the West was Won,” the 2013 National Junior Heifer Show, kicked off June 15 and concluded June 21. Fonner Park of Grand Island, Neb., was host to the show, including 156 Chianina junior exhibitors and 153 head of Chi and Chi-influenced cattle from 19 states. Dr. Clint Rusk of Stillwater, Okla., was the judge.
