FELPS restores Floresville power

Downtown Floresville is back in action, following a power outage at approximately 8 a.m. today.

Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) General Manager Kyle Dicke said only downtown Floresville was affected by the failure of a transformer at one of the utility’s substations.

FELPS transferred to another transformer to restore power around 9 a.m. CPS is assisting with equipment repairs.

Kosciusko area was also affected by the power outage, so it was not just Floresville.
