1942-2013

John W. Moore, 70, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, in his home near Seguin, Texas. He was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Kansas City, Kan., to William LaVerne and Mildred Elizabeth (Fry) Moore.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Williams.

John is survived by his wife, Norma Jolene (Garner) Moore; a son, Johnny Moore and wife Collean; a stepdaughter, Renee Reininger; a granddaughter, Kymbre Chaney; a great-grandson, Landon Michael Chaney; a stepgranddaughter, Madelyn Williams; two sisters, Harriet Nelson and Peggy Moore; a brother, Jerry Moore; and dear friends, Sidney and Edna McMain.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 1:30 p.m. at 1600 Red Road in Seguin.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
