The URBAN-15 Group will host its seventh annual Josiah Media Festival on Thursday through Saturday, July 11-13, at 7 p.m. each day in the URBAN-15 Studio at 2500 S. Presa in San Antonio.

Entries from across the United States and internationally by filmmakers under the age of 21 will be screened during the three-day event.

General admission is $10, or $5 for military, artists, students, and seniors.

The Josiah Media Festival is an international competition exclusively featuring filmmakers ages 21 and younger. The festival honors Josiah Miles Neundorf, a talented media artist from San Antonio, who passed away in 2006 as a result of osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Josiah expanded the lives of those around him through his brilliance, joy, and determination to create outstanding works despite battling his disease. In honor of this artist, his parents, Marcus and Nancy Neundorf, and the URBAN-15 Group created the Josiah Media Festival, designed to encourage outstanding works by young film, video, and media artists.

For more information, call 210-736-1500 or email josiahfestival@urban15.org.
