The first-ever Roger Crouch Memorial Bull-riding event will be held Saturday, July 20, at 7 p.m. in the Nixon-Smiley Livestock Show Arena, located off U.S. 87 west of Nixon. Proceeds will benefit the Roger Crouch Memorial Scholarship fund.

Producer Jim West of Crazy J Rodeo Co. will offer more than 40 bulls for the event. Crazy J Rodeo specializes in charity events and has teamed up with the Crouch family. Crouch was involved in a bull-riding accident that severed his spinal cord. He passed away three days later in January 2011.

Presale tickets are $10 each, $15 at the gate.

For more information, contact Jordan Carrington at 830-857-2033 or Jim West at 830-391-4556.
