Offer condolences


LaFraye McClure Howard, 88, of San Antonio, Texas, was peacefully called home by the Lord to rejoin her loving husband of more than 50 years, Gene, Thursday, July 4, 2013. Born in Lamesa on Nov. 16, 1924, she will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Wilma Wagner of Victoria; her sons, Steven Howard and wife Diane of Austin, Roger Howard and wife Rozalyn of Miami, Fla., and Richard Howard of Michigan; her daughter, Stormy Jean Howard of San Antonio; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. in the Unity Church in San Antonio, with a reception to follow.
