Dovie Louise Collins, 73, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, in an Aransas Pass hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1939.

Dovie is now with her husband, E.C. Collins, who passed away six years ago.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Pogue, and her sister, Carolyn Pogue Ferguson.

Originally from La Vernia, Texas, Dovie is survived by her sons, Chuck Collins and wife Cathy and Keith Collins and wife Wendy Kalina Collins; her daughters, Terri Lynn Collins and Kandi R. Collins; her grandchildren, Dakota Collins, Taylor Collins, Casey Collins, Chelsea Collins, Kyle Collins, Kaleb Collins, Andy Clubb, and Destinee Clubb; many great-grandchildren; and many more family in La Vernia and surrounding areas.

Dovie will be greatly missed and loved. May she rest in peace, said her family.
