Q: When did you know you wanted to be an actor?

A: I always knew I wanted to be an actor; it was never a decision.

Q: What music do you listen to?

A: Any genre, there are certain songs that make you feel things, certain songs, just wow. I love OneRepublic, The Script, All Time Low. I love pretty much every genre. I love the Rolling Stones and Elvis.

Q: What are your favorite books?

A: I just read “The Catcher in the Rye.” After I read the book, I missed his personality. And obviously you can’t go wrong with Shakespeare. My favorite poem ever was Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.

Q: Are you recognized from “Austin & Ally”?

A: Every day someone says, “Oh my gosh you’re Austin.” It’s all very sweet.

Q: Who recognizes you?

A: From age 6 to late 20s. I’ve met girls in college that say to me “Is it bad that I’m 25 and I’m in love with Ross Lynch?” Boys love the show.

Q: What did you do when not shooting while in Puerto Rico?

A: I go with my brothers (who were visiting) and a few girls from the movie and bring our guitars and jam on the beach, just singing guitar.

Q: What kind of guitar do you have?

A: I have an electric Fender and a Telecaster. I have a Taylor and a Martin. I want to get more guitars for more sounds.
