POTH -- A local couple feared missing are safe at home, officials confirmed July 24.

Jeff and Debbie Gorzell of Poth are the subject of a flyer making the rounds in Wilson County and in cyberspace, which warns that the two are missing. But according to Investigator Stephen Moore of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, the Gorzells are safe at home.

A family member reported the Gorzells missing just before 11 a.m., after Jeff did not report to work. Moore said, however, that the couple were never in any danger and that they had driven to Austin.
