Jennifer Koll will represent Texas to compete for the title of Miss Czech- Slovak USA in Wilber, Nebraska this weekend, Aug. 2-4, 2013. As part of the pagent, Miss Koll will be participating in both personal and on-stage inverviews. She will also be modeling her kroj (shown here), an authentic replica of kroj from the Moravian villiage of Nivnice, a neighboring village to Novy Hrozenkov, the anscestral village of Miss Koll’s family. For her talent, Miss Koll will be singing, “Moon over Moravia”.

Miss Koll is a Junior at Texas A&M University, majoring in Nutritional Sciences, with a minor in Communication. She is shown here with her Little Czech Sister, Faith Wenck. Both are granddaughters of Jo Ann (Maha) Zaeske and the late Lou Zaeske, originally from Poth and Floresville, respectively.
