SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Silver Stars have announced they will play their annual Breast Health Awareness game on a one-of-a-kind pink court. It will be the first WNBA game and first known professional basketball game played on a pink court.

Silver Stars season ticket holders who are breast cancer survivors will assist in the painting of the court.

The Silver Stars will host the Phoenix Mercury on the pink court for Breast Health Awareness Night presented by CHRISTUS Santa Rosa on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 7 p.m. in the AT&T Center.

The WNBA Breast Health Awareness program focuses on generating awareness and educating women about breast cancer, in addition to raising funds for the initiative. This season, WNBA Breast Health Awareness Week will take place from Aug. 18-24.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit sasilverstars.com or call 210-444-5090.
