The second annual Texas AgXchange, an outdoor farm and ranch show, is set for Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 2-3, at the RMB Fairgrounds in Robstown.

Admission to the show, conference, available parking, and the field demonstrations are free. The event will offer free Continuing Education Unit credits to south Texas farmers and ranchers.

The show will include nearly 200 exhibitors. “The show has nearly doubled in size from last year,” stated Greg Geisler, CEO of VerticalXchange, producer of Texas AgXchange.

The AgriLife conference set for Oct. 3 will include the following topics:

•Outdoor working cattle demonstrations by Dr. Joe Paschal and Dr. Megan Clayton and Dr. Floron “Buddy” Faries Jr.

•“Texas Pesticide Laws and Regulations Update” by Mark Matocha.

•“Potential Ground and Surface Water Quality Impacts Associated With Pesticide Movement Due to the Actions of Water and Weather” by Lucas Gregory and John Metz.
