The Wilson County Patriots invited Floresville elected officials and area residents to participate July 30 in a town hall meeting in the American Legion Post 38 hall in Floresville.

As long as someone is there to rent for that amount, the rent will be at that amount. When nobody comes forward to rent these places, then the rents will drop. Not rocket science.

brite eyes, if you haven't noticed the hotels are NOT full anymore and the RV parks are not full anymore. Everything has vacancies. Not to mention there are a lot more houses for rent here in Floresville. Reason? Karnes... More ›

Melony Mom - last I checked this was not a socialist government - not yet anyway. Landlords can charge what the market will bear. Those oilfield workers work hard and make good money. Maybe you should get a job in the oilfield.

With residents moving out of city to seek affordable living and better jobs - I wonder what this town will be like when the oilfield is finished. Put oilfield workers in the projects

I was the blog that had to do with the mayor's son DWI. Either it wasn't true or someone wants to cover for the mayor. Was that ever in the paper?
