Patrick and Katherine Nichols of San Antonio, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Krystal Colleen, to Roy John “Trey” Baring III, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy John Baring Jr. of Elmendorf.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Arland C. Nichols Sr. and the late Mary Josephine Nichols, and Dorothy Latimer Foley and the late Gerald M. Foley. Krystal attended East Central High School before graduating from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business in marketing.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Patricia Roumaya and the late Louis Roumaya, and Roy Baring Sr. and the late Mary Louise Baring.

Trey attended Floresville High School before graduating from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2003 with a Bachelor of Ag Economics.

The pair began dating after being introduced by her sister at the San Antonio Rodeo four years ago. Krystal and Trey became engaged in September 2012 and have planned a late August wedding. The couple will reside in La Vernia, Texas

Krystal’s sister, Nicole Gonzalez, will attend as matron of honor while Trey’s brother, Ryan Baring, will attend as best man.
