Central Texas’ premier art gallery, the Russell Collection Fine Art Gallery of Austin, will present a collection of works by artist Peter Max Aug. 17-25 in North Star Mall at 7400 San Pedro Ave. in San Antonio.

Max will make two special live appearances at the exhibit on Aug. 24 and Aug. 25, from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday. The series will feature interpretive works of Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, Pablo Picasso, Renoir, and Edgar Degas, along with signature Texas-inspired pieces, including “The Alamo.”

Artwork will be on exhibition and available for acquisition. All appearances are open to the public and are complimentary.
