Stockdale Elementary School will hold its “Meet the Teacher Night” on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the school at 800 South Sixth St. in Stockdale.

Parents are welcome to drop off school supplies, meet their child’s teacher, and complete registration paperwork.

For anyone new to the area, “new student enrollment” will be held through Friday, Aug. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Parents/guardians will need to take their child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record, parent identification, and proof of residency.

Stockdale Elementary is also accepting applications for Head Start, a full-day program, which will be incorporated into the school campus. Take the same documents listed above to register for Head Start. Enrolled students will be eligible for transportation.

The school supply lists are posted on the website, www.stockdaleisd.org.

For more information, call 830-996-3557.
