Rogers receives National FFA scholarship

The National FFA Organization awarded a $1,000 Ford Trucks/Built Ford Tough Scholarship to Austin Rogers of the Nixon-Smiley FFA. The scholarship is sponsored by Caraway Ford as a special project of the National FFA Foundation. Rogers plans to use the funds to pursue a degree at Texas State University in San Marcos.

This scholarship is one of 1,645 awarded through the National FFA Organization’s scholarship program this year. Currently, 127 sponsors contribute more than $2.1 million to support scholarships for students.
