Help Wanted

Very part-time help needed to feed cats, chickens, and horses, Monday-Friday, 2 times per day, morning after dawn but before 9 a.m. for approx. 30-45 minutes and p.m. before dark (summer about 6-8 p.m., winter 4-5 p.m.) for approx. 60-90 minutes. Suitable for someone who lives near location, which is exactly halfway between New Berlin and La Vernia. No smoking and requires working in all weather conditions. Long term job, it will not replace income, it will supplement. 830-372-5762.  
Floresville ISD is accepting applications at www.fisd.us for the position of custodian, 260 days, 5 days per week, 8 hour workday.

Wilson County Commissioners Court Approved a Burn Ban for all of Wilson County effective today. It will take up to a week for the word to get out. It should be in the WC News this week. We are not going to be allowing any Subdivision ... More ›

From the Office of Emergency Management: Wilson County Commissioners Court approved a burn ban for all of Wilson County, effective on 8/12/2013 for 90 days. WC has an average KBDI of 647 with a high of 696 and a low of 520 ... More ›
