Williams last seen April 27

SAN ANTONIO -- The Heidi Search Center here is planning to conduct a search this week for 50-year-old Deborah Jean Williams, who last was seen April 27 leaving on foot from a recreational-vehicle (RV) park on Donop Road in Southeast Bexar County. She is described as a white female standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Betsy Cooper, the center’s executive director, said Aug. 13 a definite date has not been set, but that a team of search dogs likely will be used in an attempt to find clues. While Cooper did not confirm whether the search was being considered a “recovery” mission, she said that Williams’ bank account has had no activity and that the last calls from her cellular phone came on the night she last was seen.

Officials said earlier that Williams’ boyfriend, mother, and stepfather were the last to see her at approximately 10 p.m. April 27. That was when she left the RV that she shared with her boyfriend, walking toward a tree line.
