Offer condolences


Virgie (Woitena) Lubianski, 85, of Adkins, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. She was born on July 20, 1928, in Adkins to Pankracy and Veronica (Hudek) Woitena.

Virgie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bonnie Lubianski; and brothers Albert Woitena, Ben Woitena, Alois Woitena, and Ted Woitena.

She is survived by her loving children, Patrick Lubianski, Dianelle Schnuriger and husband John, Joyce Campbell and husband Bob, Coradine Shannon and husband Robert, and Rodney Lubianski and wife Kathy; grandchildren Johnelle, Mark, Shannon, Troy, Chad, Casey, Jennifer, Jessica, and Chase; great-grandchildren Cierra, Kaela, Ally, Emma Grace, Caden, Lawsen, Logan, and Arlo; sisters Margaret Clayton and Cecilia Shadrock; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 9, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A graveside service was held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig, with the Rev. Robert Walden officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the John Paul II Center Kitchen Fund, P.O. Box 100, St. Hedwig, TX 78152.
