FLORESVILLE -- The former Wilson County Memorial Hospital on Hospital Boulevard (S.H. 97 West) adjacent to Pecan Park has been vacant since being replaced by the Connally Memorial Medical Center on U.S. 181, which opened in 2005. Since then, the privately owned building has become a nuisance, being a favorite target for activities such as theft, vandalism, and squatting. . . .
