The North East Bexar County Democrats will hold a Labor Day Picnic on Monday, Sept. 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the VFW Post No. 8541 at 2222 Austin Hwy. in San Antonio.

Activities will include honoring labor activists, Bob Comeaux and Mary Lou Miller, an olde-time political rally with County Commissioner Precinct No. 4 Tommy Adkisson, voter registration, kids activities, candidate tables and petition signing, organization tables, and more.

Typical picnic food plates will be sold at $10 for adults and $5 for children. The event will be held indoors in the air-conditioned hall. Free parking will be available on-site.
