Q: How did you like putting your life before TV cameras?

A: (Laughs) Strangely enough, I loved it. It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a little while. I just felt like I had a family made for TV, and so this was a great opportunity for us to do that. So yeah, it was a lot of fun for me to film this show.

Q: How much is this show helping to launch your businesses and brand?

A: I think this is a huge part of it. I think that as an athlete, unfortunately for us, you do have to start thinking about our life after sports. Most people, when they get in a career, you have more longevity, and so for me this is actually a great opportunity to launch the things I like to do off the track because I know it’s not going to last forever. So yeah, I hope this will be great for my brand and I enjoy seeing my family on TV, and hopefully it will bring other opportunities as well.

Q: In the pilot, you mention you want to take over the world. What does that mean?

A: (Laughs) When I was young, my dad always told me not to be one-dimensional. And I feel like up until this point, I’ve chased this dream to be a track star and to be an Olympic champion for 20 years. And I’ve finally accomplished that, and I feel like there’s so much more to me than just being a track star. And so I want to own my own business. I have one currently, and I want to do more. I want to do some acting and hosting. I want to do more in fashion. I love beauty and fashion. So I just want to be like the J-Los of the world, who explore all of themselves.
