Archdiocese welcomes Reile as Sacred Heart principal

Hilary Reile is among eight new principals welcoming students back to Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Reile is the principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Floresville, where students returned to class Aug. 19 for the 2013-14 academic year.

The eight principals have already hit the ground running to assure every teacher and every family reap the rewards of a continued devotion to faith, academics, and service.

In the local schools, Gilbert Olivarri is the new principal at St. Peter of the Apostles, Dr. Christine Saavedra is in charge at St. Margaret Mary, and Hank Valdespino is the new principal at Rolling Hills Catholic.

At the outlying schools, Dr. Cindy Cummings is at the helm of St. James in Seguin, Mrs. Karen Rothe at St. Louis in Castroville, and Sharon Richards is in charge at Sacred Heart in Uvalde.

Hope for the future is providing a record 1,977 children with tuition assistance for the 2013-14 school year. Many of the Archdiocese of San Antonio Catholic schools still have space available. Families interested in the solid foundation, rigorous academics, and safe, nurturing environment offered in Catholic schools, are invited to visit any of the 43 schools or visit sacatholicschools.org for more information.
