Members of the La Vernia Volunteer Fire Department are among the five agencies on the scene of a massive fire between C.R. 321 and Enchanted Oaks Drive outside La Vernia. The blaze has claimed pastureland and at least one structure. Enchanted Oaks has been closed to traffic because of firefighting and other heavy equipment working the scene. Wilson County Precinct 3 also is providing assistance. More information will be provided if it becomes available.
