Drive out to the Cibolo Nature Center and listen to Dave Barker as he presents “Slithering Snakes of Texas” on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Nature Center at 140 City Park Road in Boerne.

Barker, a world-renowned snake expert and the author of Pythons of the World, Volumes I and II, will discuss the fascinating anatomy and behavior of snakes. His presentation will explore common snakes of the Texas Hill Country, including water snakes, venomous snakes, and more. The workshop will include a hands-on component with live specimens for participants to handle.

Interested participants can register online at cibolo.org/calendar. The cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children.

For information, contact Cindy Glass at 830-249-4616 or nature@cibolo.org.
