ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. 1946-2013

Rocky Dee Seidel, 67, of Stockdale passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013. He was born on Jan. 20, 1946, in Charlotte, Texas, to Erwin and Alma (Woelke) Seidel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Dorothy Stulting and Betty Staggs; and brothers Leroy Seidel and Alton Seidel (infant).

Rocky is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Laskowski) Seidel; daughters Roxanne Seidel and fiancé Randall Moczygemba, Renee Moczygemba and husband Edwin, Rose Kader and husband Jeremy, and Rachel Bade and husband Jason; sons Rick Seidel and Ron Seidel; grandchildren Jordan and Hunter Kader, Trevor and Christopher Moczygemba, Amber Seidel, Rilynn Bade, and Garret, Grant, and Bella Moczygemba; brother Lucky Seidel and wife JoAnn; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many loving friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 6, from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary vigil at 7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale officiated by the Rev. Dennis Jarzombek.

Interment followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Stockdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 535, Stockdale, TX 78160.
