Julie Ann ‘Jewels’ (Gaertner) Grasty
Julie Ann “Jewels” (Gaertner) Grasty, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013. She was born in San Antonio on May 1, 1957, to Tom and Pat Gaertner.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Mele Turner; paternal grandparents Joe and Mary Gaertner; three uncles; and two aunts.
Jewels is survived by her parents; her daughters, Heather Larson and husband Jesse and Corey Molina and husband Eric; sisters Kitty Nunes and husband Ed, Anna Dew and husband David, and Suzie Bennett and husband Steve; grandchildren Nolan, Sadie, Aleah, and Christian; cousins Betty Valchar and husband Johnny and Terry Valchar and wife Betty; eight nephews; and four nieces.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
