Greetings from Stockdale Independent School District (ISD).

The Stockdale Elementary campus will hold their annual book fair from Thursday, Oct. 3, until Friday, Oct. 11. Parent conferences will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and the entire district will have an early release for this event.

Stockdale Junior High is moving right along this year with a new concept -- lockerless campus. The junior high students are adjusting well to this and the halls have been quiet and empty.

Stockdale High School would like to acknowledge the FFA and 4-H students who are going to the state fair in Dallas next month. Good luck on their competitions!!

The first six weeks is about to close. Friday, Oct. 4. is the end of the first six-weeks period.

Have a great September and it’s on to October!

Paul Darilek is the superintendent of the Stockdale Independent School District.
