The Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Public Library has announced it is expanding its services to Stockdale.

For the past two years the library has made it possible for the volunteers of the Sarah Bain Chandler Public Library to lease 15 New York Times Bestsellers a month. At the end of the one-year lease program, the library has the option to return the leased book or to purchase for a reduced rate.

When visiting the Stockdale library, look for the books with the green McNaughton spine label band.

This year the Sam Fore Jr. Wilson County Public Library has extended this extra service to include the purchase of new audiobooks on CD. It has set up a standing ordering plan for the volunteers of the Stockdale library to choose four new titles a month or 12 within a quarter.

These audiobooks will be a permanent addition to the Sarah Bain Chandler Public Library collection.

For more information, call 830-393-7361, or email librarian.wcpl@gmail.com.
