The Stockdale Chamber of Commerce held its regular monthly meeting Aug. 26. Board member and officer elections were the focus of the meeting. The board accepted the resignation of board member Damon Henry and nominated Wesley Hodge to fill the remaining unexpired term of that spot.

Board members up for re-election included Rick Rutland, Jennifer Dillingham, Donna Skloss, Gennie Rangel, and Betty Soto. Rutland expressed his desire not to seek re-election as a board member. All others --Jennifer Dillingham, Donna Skloss, Gennie Rangel, and Betty Soto -- were re-elected unanimously by the board to serve two-year terms.

The board then held officer elections, with the unanimous results as follows:

President Sherry Lambeck, Vice President Jesse Vela, Secretary Betty Soto, and Treasurer Jennifer Dillingham.

The board held a short discussion regarding amendments and updates to the current organization bylaws and agreed to finalize changes at the September meeting.

The next meeting of the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce will be held Monday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in the offices of the Stockdale Economic Development Corp. Plan to attend if you are interested in becoming more involved with any of our activities.

Sherry D. Lambeck is the president of the Stockdale Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber directors:

Sherry D. Lambeck, president
Jesse Vela Jr., vice president
Rick Rutland, secretary
Betty Soto, treasurer
Frank Bain Jr., director emeritus
Paul Darilek, Jennifer Dillingham, Josh Heimann, Damon Henry, Randall Lingo, Gennie Rangel, Donna Skloss
