Texas 4-H members are unlike any other youth organization members -- and they strive to do the best and they make the best better! Saturday, Oct. 12, will be the fifth anniversary of Texas 4-H members giving back through community service and making a difference in one day!

Every 4-H member in Texas is asked to take part in a community-service project. Members can pick a project as small as mowing the neighbor’s yard by themselves, to as large as your entire county 4-H coming together to host a 5K run for a local organization. One Day 4-H is a day to make a difference in the community.

4-H members may order One Day 4-H shirts for $3.80 per shirt. The last day to order is Wednesday, Sept. 25. No late orders will be accepted. Go to www.barefootathletics.com/cof and enter code COF41241.

For more information about One Day 4-H, contact the local AgrilLife extension office at 830-393-7357.
