1926-2013

Erwin H. Birnbaum was born July 29, 1926, and passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the age of 87.

He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Erwin ranched full time for 40 years and for 55 years total. Erwin was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Pamela Birnbaum. He is survived by his daughter, Mova Birnbaum of New Braunfels; son Mark Birnbaum and wife Donna of San Marcos; grandson Zachary Birnbaum and wife Christy of Denton; granddaughter Amanda Birnbaum of Hawaii; and great-grandchild Cheyenne Birnbaum.

A graveside service was held on Monday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. in the Nockenut Cemetery in Stockdale, Texas, with Pastor Baumch officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
