The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s Fall Fest Committee will host its Bar-B-Que Cookoff and Festival Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28, at the Freeman Coliseum/AT&T Center Grounds in San Antonio. Friday’s events include the cook-off, shopping, and exhibits at 3 p.m.

The 11th annual Ace in the Hole Casino Night will begin at 6 p.m. The ticket price of $60 per person includes a catered dinner, dancing, drinks, and gambling fun.

The “Bret Mullins Band” and “Armadillo Road” will take the stage at the Smoke Pit Saloon Patio at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively.

Two heats of mutton bustin’ will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Price is $35. Other Saturday events include a washer tournament, Bad Boyz of BBQ Olympics, and live music. Visit and click on “schedule of events.”
