Robert and Mary Ann Trevino of Poth, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan Marie of San Antonio, to Brian John Haworth of San Antonio, the son of John and Elsa Haworth of Denver, Colo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lucy Matheaus of Poth and the late Charles Matheaus, the late Ben Gorzell Sr., formerly of Kosciusko, and Elida Carroll of Three Rivers and the late Melvin Carroll.

Megan is a graduate of Poth High School and the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Cherry Creek High School in Denver and the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. Brian also attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree.

The couple plan to wed in October 2013 at Lake Travis in Austin, Texas.
