CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Ronald and Cynthia Braddy of La Vernia, Texas, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha, to Tony Gonzales, the son of Marie and Pantaleon Gonzales Jr. of La Vernia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Meredith and Barbara Richardson, formerly of Freer, and the late Mildred and Everett Braddy Sr., formerly of Floresville. She is the great-granddaughter of Bertha Koenning of Floresville.

Samantha is a 2010 graduate of La Vernia High School. She graduated from Southern Career Institute and is currently employed at the H-E-B plant in San Antonio.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Pantaleon Gonzales Sr. and the late Augustine Rangel Gonzales, both formerly of La Vernia.

Tony is a 2005 graduate of La Vernia High School and is currently employed as a perishable rep. specialist at H-E-B in Floresville.

The wedding will be held in the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. The couple plan to reside in La Vernia, Texas.
