The City of Poth is currently accepting applications for the position of Chief of Police. The Chief is responsible for all operational and administrative aspects of the police department, provide patrol, criminal investigations, crime prevention, enforce all laws and ordinances and be responsible for public health and safety. Must be community oriented, have strong public relations skills, strong work ethics, must be physically fit and maintain a professional image while in uniform. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Must have a valid Class C or higher Texas Driver’s License. Must be TCLEOSE Master Peace Officer certified and have at least 5 years of experience with law enforcement agency; SWAT, Gang Unit, Narcotics or Detective experience a plus, pass a thorough background check investigation with drug screen and credit check. The City offers benefit package with retirement plan and medical insurance. Salary dependent on qualifications. EOE. Kristin Greer, the daughter of Curt and Brenda Greer, is proud to represent the Floresville Cheer Booster Club in the 2013 Peanut Festival.

Kristin is currently the co-captain of the Floresville High School varsity cheer squad and is the vice president of the Floresville FFA and treasurer of the National Honor Society. She is also a member of Link Crew. Kristin attends St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, where she is a member of Teen ACTS.

She plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station and major in business.

Kristin will be escorted by Mark Allen Livesay, the son of Paul and Lisa Livesay. Mark has three brothers and one sister.

Mark is a 17-year-old senior at Floresville High School who loves to play sports. He plays football, baseball, and is also part of the powerlifting team. He plans to attend college to become a paramedic.

Kristin would like to thank Mark for escorting her and would also like to thank the Cheer Booster Club for allowing her to represent them in this year’s Peanut Festival.
