Erik Allan Bruett is excited to represent the Floresville Peanut Festival Association as scepter bearer to Queen-elect Corinne Morkovsky and the Court of Broadway Lights.

Erik is the son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Randy Bruett and little brother of Sarah. He is the grandson of Allan and Norma Drozd and Dave and Georgie Bruett. He is the nephew of Leann Drozd and Mike and Janice Bruett.

Erik is a second-grader at Floresville South Elementary. He enjoys playing in the Floresville Little League and Wilson County Soccer League. In his spare time, he loves playing with his Legos and being with his animals.

His family has a long Peanut Festival history. Erik’s Aunt Leann was in the Children’s Court and was a duchess, his mom was in the Children’s Court and was Queen of the Court of Childhood Fantasies, and his sister was a page in the Court of Celebrations of Texas.

Erik would like to thank Kathy Sawers for her time, care, and creativity in making his costume. He would like to thank his MomMom and mommy for beading.

He is honored and grateful to Queen-elect Corinne for asking him to be in her Children’s Court. Thank you for this opportunity of a lifetime.
