The Floresville Peanut Festival Association is proud to announce August Moczygemba of Kosciusko as the honorary parade marshal for the 69th annual Floresville Peanut Festival.

A retired banker and businessman, he is active in farming and ranching in Wilson and Karnes counties. The Moczygemba family was active in peanut farming several years ago. August has been a member of the Floresville Peanut Festival Association for more than 28 years, having held every office on the board, including two terms as president. August also volunteers his time with several other organizations throughout Wilson County.

He would like to thank the Peanut Festival Association for this honor and invites everyone to attend and enjoy the weekend full of fun and entertainment.
