Letter: Thank you for Obamacare editorials
I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed your editorials on “Obamacare.” With all the major political differences in Washington, D.C., I just have to shake my head in utter disbelief.
Never in my life have I seen such a group of elected officials be so split and unable to represent what we want. It is not the majority of this nation that wanted the Affordable Care Act, but Mr. Obama and his henchmen of Reid and Pelosi. The rest are just followers and do as they say. So our voice is not being heard.
Mr. Obama drew up a plan that he knew would divide this country and it is working. Recently I got into a disagreement with my left wing friends and asked if Obama has led them to the “Promised Land.” They didn’t respond.
Now as for me, I don’t intend to step in line with this current administration. Articles such as the ones you have written are the best education we can get in these trying times. 2014 will be here soon and maybe, just maybe, some new leadership representing us will be in place. But sadly I really don’t see this happening. What I am most afraid of is voters staying away from the polls in utter disgust and that won’t do anyone much good. Thank you for your insight into a national problem.
