Members of the Sutherland Springs Community Association remind you to save the date as they put the final touches on the 25th annual Old Town Day Celebration to be held on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Come and witness the presentation of the royal court at the Coronation on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. in the Sutherland Springs Community Building.

Saturday’s festivities will begin with the annual baked goods contest and a kids’ parade and costume contest. Children wishing to participate in the costume contest must sign in by 10 a.m. Following the kiddie fun will be the best little Big Parade in Texas at 11 a.m. and barbecue plates for $8 prepared by the Mendez brothers, cousins, and others. A silent auction will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Musical entertainment will be provided all day and into the evening with classic country and western, mariachi, bagpipers, Americana, rock and roll, Christian, Spanish ballads, and more.

Proceeds will benefit the Sutherland Springs Community Building remodeling projects.

For more information, presale meal tickets, or vendor spaces, call 830-534-8563.
