With much encouragement from friends, relatives, and citizens, I seek my third term as city councilman. I was born here and have witnessed the changes to the area; the different people excited to move here and do business here is part of what public service is.

All cities need better streets, infrastructure, sewer systems, and an efficient police force. We’re no different.

Citizens want to know: When is my street going to be fixed? Is Chili’s coming? Why do I have to clean my yard when my neighbor’s is 4 feet high? Why do you clean more in a certain part of town and not where I live? Why are my phone calls not returned?

You elect us; we work for you. Citizens are focusing on the real issues. They need to be informed and educated. Proverbs 14:15: “Only simpletons believe everything they’re told. The prudent carefully consider their steps.”

As your city councilman, I will see that prioritized street maps are available for viewing. Code compliance is being revamped. Notifying the city manager of complaints or issues will be done. I urge citizens to attend our meetings when able and ask questions.

I ask for your vote and support.
