Q: How do you describe “The Tomorrow People” superior creatures?

A: They are not dressed in capes. They are regular people living underground. They do a lot of hiding.

Q: You were in “H2O: Just Add Water,” an Australian series, which is also a cult favorite around the world. What was that like?

A: That was a lot of fun. It was very popular. I was in Season 3, and it was a cool concept. It clinched that I love this and want to do it, and if I can get paid for it, even better.

Q: You were working in Australia. Why make the huge move?

A: I wanted to go to Hollywood because that’s where the opportunities for me are. Enjoying what I do is a big part of it.

Q: What was your training?

A: It was stage-type training. I had done amateur theater shows.

Q: How do you describe your character, John Young?

A: He is a man who is probably being forced to grow up quicker than he was planning on doing. He is in his mid-20s. There is definitely supposed to be an age distinction between him and Stephen (Robbie Amell) to make a love triangle.

Q: There’s a lot of fighting, flying, breaking through walls. Are you doing your own stunts?

A: It is a lot of physicality, and it is pretty exciting with the level of stunts. The stunt doubles help us out from time to time.
