The 2013 “Saints Alive” Cemetery Tour will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery at 201 E. Klein St. in Seguin.

The tours will feature historical re-enactments and presentations at the site of the eight cemetery memorials. Each “saint of Seguin” will be portrayed by a local actor or actress, some of them actually descendants of the historical figures. One such portrayal will be of Mary B. Erskine, a beloved schoolteacher and principal of the first Seguin High School opened in 1892 to house all grades.

Tickets are $10 and are available at Gift and Gourmet, Cascades, Seguin Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber, Silver Center, from members of the clubs, and at the gate. All proceeds will benefit the preservation of the Federated Clubhouse.

For more information, call Sudy Bruns at 830-305-4379.
