Offer condolences


Shannon Marie Gideon McMinn, 33, of Adkins, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. She was born on Jan. 9, 1980, in Lakenheath, England.

Shannon was preceded in death by her grandmother, JoAnn Richardson; and grandfather Ross Gideon.

She is survived by her mother, Lacii Spenrath and husband Roger; father Marde Gideon and wife Sandra; sister Danielle Capriato; brothers Carmen Capriato, Brady Spenrath, Larry Cox, Christopher Cox, and Vincent Cox; grandparents Joe and Melva McMinn and Khristl Sparks; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many loving family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 1-2 p.m. in the La Vernia United Methodist Church in La Vernia.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the church, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Goodridge.

Interment followed in the Kicaster Cemetery in Adkins.
