Although we make every effort to spot suspicious ads before they run, one may occasionally get into print. If that happens, we ask the consumer to call us ASAP so that we can take corrective action.

Bobby and Violet (Hutton) Puryear married Nov. 2, 1948, in Seguin, Texas, and soon will celebrate their 65 years of marriage.

Bobby served in the U.S. Army/Air Force and retired from Northeast Independent School District. Violet worked at F.W. Woolworth when they met and then dedicated the rest of her life to her children, her husband, and her church.

The two traveled extensively across the United States and were blessed with six children between 1949 and 1963.

Bobby and Violet will celebrate their anniversary at home with their family. They want to thank all their family and friends for the good wishes they have received.
